Your Attorney Video is Not Worth 1000 Words

thesaurusHaven’t you heard the phrase “A picture is worth a thousand words?”

Of course you have.

If a picture is worth a thousand words then what’s an attorney video worth?

I will tell you the value of your video has NOTHING to do with how many words the video correlates with.

Instead, the value of your attorney video has to do with the compelling content you create for your viewer.

I’m not describing the number of words you have spoken in your videos. I’m not talking about a transcript of your video.

I’m talking about how you communicate with your viewer.

I’m talking about the connection you make with your viewer.

I’m talking about the authority you build by showing your viewer that you have information they need and want.

What is the value of your video?

What connection do you make with your viewer?

Have you generated trust with your viewer? Do they believe you? Do you have authenticity and confidence?

All those intangible things are worth much more than lots of words. That’s what gets a viewer to pick up the phone and call you asking for more information.

It’s the value of what you say, how you say it and how you convey it that makes all the difference in the world.

Have you ever created a word picture?

If you haven’t, try this exercise.

Take an interesting photograph and then describe it in words to your friend. See if the words you use will truly allow your friend to “See” the photo you are describing.
