Kramer Law Firm
I was asked that question in a discussion I gave to the national Legal Marketing Association in Las Vegas recently.
The other panelists were from large law firms talking about how they use video in their attorney marketing. None of the smart marketing officers were discussing return on their investment. Instead, they talked of vague ‘getting their name out there’ type of attorney video marketing.
I welcomed the opportunity to answer this question from an audience member.
First, I explained that the ONLY REASON to create a video marketing message is to convert an online viewer into a caller. There is NO OTHER REASON in my opinion to create great educational attorney video. Not everyone on the panel agreed with me.
Guess what? I didn’t care what everyone else thought.
When I create an educational message, I do it so my ideal clients and consumers can find information they are looking for. When they find my videos they watch them. They watch till the end. Then they watch more of them. Then they send me emails thanking me for the great information I provide.
You should know I don’t provide any legal advice in my videos.
You should also know that I don’t talk about myself or my law firm in my videos.
What could I possibly say in my videos if I don’t talk about myself, my firm or the law that would make viewers raving fans of me and my educational lawyer videos?
You might also want to know I have more than 900 videos online now with more going up every week. As someone who speaks to really smart attorneys often at legal marketing seminars across the country, I have some key information that can help you and your law firm.
As the only practicing trial lawyer in the country who helps other lawyers create educational video, I have a unique perspective on what content converts an online viewer into a caller.
As someone who consistently takes in new meritorious cases as a direct result of my video marketing efforts, I have an idea of the results that can be achieved from people who are searching for this information.
Here’s a recent sample of the type of results my video marketing has generated…
$150,000 settlement; dental malpractice case
$97,500 settlement; dental malpractice case
$250,000 settlement; wrongful death medical malpractice case
$495,000 settlement; podiatry wrongful death case
If you just want to create ‘branding’ messages in your attorney videos, then you should NOT sign up with me to create your videos.
I don’t do ‘branding’.
