During each of my conversations with these really smart attorneys I had an opportunity to review videos that they had done that were online.
Every video had problems. Some worse than others.
The attorneys didn’t realize they had problems. Nor could they identify whether any callers had seen their videos prior to calling.
Here’s a list of what was wrong with most of their videos.
Why did these videos lack these things?
The attorneys didn’t know they needed them.
I didn’t even address the message the attorney was making or their presentation.
Why do I bring this up?
Many attorneys want the benefit of great video.
The problem is that they do it on their own, or hire a local video company to do it for them. There are problems with doing it both of these ways.
If you don’t spend the time to learn how to do this properly, you’ll likely be missing critical steps in the video marketing process.
Likewise, if you hire the lowest cost video guy, you’ll likely get the lowest cost video that is missing key components.
My question is: “Why would you hire a company to do just pieces and parts of what you need to get done?”
Unless you’re also going to do all those other things, you’ll be scratching your head wondering why nobody is watching your videos.
