The Power of Familiarity

Behind the scenes in Gerry Oginski's Law Office

How do you get someone to like you, trust you and form a bond with you if you have never met them?

Years ago this was impossible to do unless you met somebody in person and got to know them over time. Most prospects and potential clients who came into your office did so never having met you before and never having been in your office before. It took time to explain that you had the knowledge and expertise necessary to help them with their legal problem.

Technology has changed the way we communicate with our prospects and potential clients. In fact, I daresay that technology has revolutionized the way we communicate with people who have never met us and people who are searching for our particular legal services.

Let me give you a perfect example. Someone I have never met before makes an appointment and comes into my office. They think they might have a medical malpractice case or an accident case, or maybe even a wrongful death case. By the time they arrive at my office, I have pre-screened them to determine whether I am interested in taking their case. I do not schedule any appointments unless they have been pre-screened and I think their case has potential.

People who come into my office after finding my information online always tell me that “I feel like I already know you.” They look around my office and often comment that my office looks identical to the way it appears in my videos. They will often remark “Your office looks exactly the same as it does in your videos!”

By the time they arrive in my office, it feels like déjà vu for them and it feels as if they already know me, like me and trust me, despite the fact that they have never personally met me before. In addition, they already feel comfortable in my surroundings because they have visited many times before virtually.

This is one of the secret hidden benefits of creating an entire video library. This has revolutionized the way I communicate with my potential clients and prospects. Pay attention to that concept since it can have a dramatic effect on the way that your potential clients see you, hear you and begin to trust you before they ever met you.

Now that is extremely powerful.

If you would like to take advantage of creating an entire video library consisting of at least 50 videos that you create in a one day video shoot, then I encourage you to pick up the phone right now and schedule a phone consult with me by calling my production manager Kathleen at 1-800-320-4314 or by e-mail, I guarantee that you’ll learn something new about marketing during our call. I look forward to talking with you.

Best regards,

I think that video is the future and you’re looking 5 years down the road, I think that the importance of television and radio are going to diminish and the importance of internet is going to rise. I think that anybody seeking to get a competitive advantage in their market needs to take the initiative and work on that now. And this is an opportunity to get in ahead of the curve and gain a competitive advantage.
