YouTube success is often judged by the total number of views a particular video generates. Do not be fooled. You can achieve success with limited numbers of views. As long as your viewer is searching for exactly what you are offering, it will not matter whether your video has been watched 100 times or 1000 times. Having said that, it is clearly to your benefit to have your video watched as many times as possible; preferably in its’ entirety.
Attorney Steve Gacovino handles mass-tort, defective drug litigation and personal injury cases in New York. He and his partner Ed Lake strive to improve the lives of injured victims with their knowledge and experience. Both of these attorneys recognize that the traditional forms of attorney advertising fail to set one attorney apart from another and that it is increasingly difficult for a consumer to make an educated decision about which attorney to choose.
Michael Serres and Michael Pyrros are two of the hardest-working, New York workers-compensation attorneys I know. They spend their days helping injured workers with their claims.
Both Steve and Ed (Gacovino & Lake & Associates), and Michael and Michael (Pyrros & Serres) realize that the future of attorney marketing is with video.
This Monday, two very smart attorneys will be creating video to help market their law practices.
They are both eager and excited to begin their journey of creating video that will help them stand out from the crowd and improve the conversion rate for their online viewers. Each one has already met with me during our mastermind strategy session where I map out the content that they will use to create their initial eight videos.
During our mastermind session I give them a formula that I personally use to create content that compels a viewer to pick up the phone and call. This also provides a blueprint for the attorney for all videos that they create on their own after the initial video shoot is over.
There are video companies who charge attorneys $5000 to create a one minute video. There are some very big well-known website companies that will charge you anywhere from $2,500 all the way up to $35,000 to create video for you. There are wedding videographers who will charge you $500 for a 30 second video that is nothing more than a template for a commercial. The problem with different video companies is comparing apples to apples. Each video production company offers you certain benefits and features that make it difficult to compare with other video companies.
In today’s YouLaw, we look at Tennessee trial lawyer Rob McKinney who gives viewers an overview of what they need to ask when looking for the best DUI attorney. The video is 3:25 long, and at times appears drawn out. However, Attorney McKinney offers great content for viewer trying to figure out who they should hire. Experience is the obvious first answer. He talks about how important it is for the attorney to have a mastery in the science of a field sobriety test, the breath test, and the blood alcohol test.

If you missed my attorney video webinar in December, you definitely do not want to miss this one on March 17, 2010 (St. Patricks day) at 12:00 noon (Eastern time).
Legal marketing expert Larry Bodine is hosting this seminar, and I’ll be explaining the importance of why you need to be on video to market yourself in today’s economy.
When I sat down with Mark Merenda, CEO of SmartMarketingNow.com to interview him recently, he graciously provided a personal endorsement of me without even asking him!
Mark is a well-known marketing expert who helps lawyers across the country create their marketing message. In this video testimonial he talks about me (which is something I never get to do).
In this video I give my final “State of Affairs” commentary about online attorney video marketing from 2009.
