How Can You Attract Your High Value Client Using Attorney Video?

magnetThere are really only three ways to attract your ideal client to you.

Have a trusted friend or colleague refer them to you. That’s the best way.

The second way is to magically have them find you.

The third way is to offer them something that they absolutely need and can’t find elsewhere.

Remember, you always want to attract your ideal client.

It does you no good to attract potential clients who (1) can’t afford you, (2) are not a good fit for you or (3) who can’t use your services.

This post will ignore the referral system.

So, how do you “magically” attract potential clients who are actively searching for you?

The answer is by providing them useful information that they need. Using educational attorney video is a key way to do that.

If you’re a PI attorney, think about what your ideal client wants to know. Then teach that to them in a short video. If you’re a DUI attorney, explain to your ideal client what they need to know.

Remember, none of these attorney videos have anything to do with you or your law firm. Make sure you remove the following words from your videos:

When your ideal client realizes that you have great information that they need, they will recognize that they need to call to ask you for more information.

The THIRD way to attract your ideal client is to give them something they can’t get elsewhere or can only get with difficulty.

Most clients have questions. They want answers. Yes they want legal answers, but mostly they want information. The usual way for them to get information is to find an attorney, make an appointment, travel to your office and then spend at least an hour with you getting information.

What if you could short circuit that path?

What if you could teach your ideal clients who are actively searching for information some of what they want to know? Do you think they would want more of what you just gave them?

Of course they would.

By teaching your ideal client something they cannot get elsewhere or only by some discomfort, you are short circuiting the process these people normally go through.

Next thing you know, these ideal clients find you, instead of you searching for them. When they tell you they just watched a video you created about their particular problem and are calling to ask you for more information, you’ll know your educational attorney videos are working.

Gerry Oginski is the master of online video. If you have not seen his videos, you should. He’s done more videos than any lawyer out there. The big edge that Gerry has over his competition is that his videos allow consumers to get to ‘know’ him before they even pick up the phone. His use of video on his website and his video blog is amazing.
