Fireside Chat With Lawyers’ Video Studio Founder Gerry Oginski

In this video I give a “State of Affairs” commentary about online attorney marketing from 2009. In the next series of Fireside chats you’ll see more commentary about how attorneys need to engage their viewers more and leave behind the old ways of ‘marketing’ themselves with traditional forms of advertising.

Watch the video to learn more.

  • Wayne Grant says:

Great video. Really liked the smooth editing using different focal lengths.

  • Thanks Wayne. It’s pretty easy to do too in your video editing software. You zoom in and also pan out. It appears as if there are multiple cameras shooting the same scene.

  • Like the wide to tight transitions as well. TIP: try to shoot it at least twice once at each focal length and then edit using cuts between each.

Also I like the framing to establish the fireplace. Of course this framing is useful for adding in bulletpointed lists where applicable to reinforce your message as well. Have you played any with “livetype”?

Mike and I look forward to speaking with you again soon as we are considering some other player options that you may like.

    Lets talk again soon!

He is the solo practitioner that pretty much dominates the web for anything medical malpractice in New York, and frustrates the hell out of all the “big guys” that spend millions and millions of dollars. He’s tenacious, he’s very good at what he does, and he’s just “killing it”. In fact, he’s actually beating me in a lot of categories for video for lawyers. He is organized and methodical as both an attorney and as a video master. I would advise anybody that’s looking to do videos to talk to Gerry about his services.
