FindLaw Video: Why I Don’t Need to Compete with FindLaw

FindLaw sells a premium video package of 12 minutes of edited video.

I help you create 100-150 minutes of edited attorney video in my 50+ video program in a one-day video shoot.

12 minutes of FindLaw video versus 100-150 minutes of Lawyers Video Studio edited video.

Which would you prefer?

FindLaw only allows you to put your 12 minutes of video on their own YouTube channel and your own website.

I give you your video assets immediately so you can put it everywhere online, to use forever and however you want.

FindLaw doesn’t let you touch your own videos for two full years.
I immediately give you your content as soon as it’s ready.

We use every possible way to optimize your video content. We create individual blog posts for every video, create accurate word-for-word transcripts and spotlight annotations for every video.

FindLaw doesn’t.

FindLaw charges over $30,000 for 12 minutes of video.

I ask you to invest $2700/month for 12 months, for 100-150 minutes of video plus all the other video marketing strategies that Findlaw doesn’t.

FindLaw doesn’t have a one-hour mastermind strategy call to prepare and plan your content with a practicing trial attorney who uses these same exact strategies to market his own law firm.

I do.

Lawyers who participate in my 50+ video marketing programs have a one hour mastermind strategy call with me. As the only practicing trial lawyer in the country who helps other lawyers market their law firms using online video I take you through all the content you need to create and how to make it interesting and compelling.

FindLaw doesn’t.

We drip your 50 videos out over the course of 6 months, for a very important reason.
FindLaw doesn’t.

FindLaw doesn’t have a practicing trial attorney as your video producer who has created over 775 educational attorney videos to market his own law practice and has authored the book “Secrets of Lawyer Video Marketing in the Age of YouTube.”

I wrote the book.

FindLaw doesn’t have a leading video marketing blog and hasn’t authored hundreds and hundreds of articles and blog posts online about lawyer video marketing.

I do.

FindLaw has not been described as America’s leading authority on video marketing for attorneys.

I have.

FindLaw has not been asked to speak at many legal marketing seminars to teach and educate lawyers across the country about the importance of creating video to market your law firm.

I have.

When you shoot video in the Lawyers Video Studio, I am your video producer, video coach and video guide during your video shoot. I speak the same language you do.

Now you know just some of the reasons why I don’t need to compete with FindLaw.

  • Dave Lorenzo says:

Those guys can’t compete with you. Their service is for people who don’t do research and are looking for a “magic pill.” Access to you is worth double the FindLaw fee.

You are in a different league.

  • Barry Doyle says:

The fact that people still do business with FindLaw amazes me. The answer to the question “What do you think of FindLaw?” is not a tough one to find. It just goes to show that lawyers do a really awful job of understanding what they are buying when it comes to marketing and are just happy to get the off-the-shelf solution so that they can get back to the grind.

  • Well Barry, they offer a product and service for attorneys that some find very palatable. Who knows exactly why they purchase? We don’t know what’s going on in their mind at the time they make their purchase decision.

Some might argue they may not have or know about other options that are available. There’s no way to know unless you specifically ask the attorney.

  • Thanks Dave! Appreciate it.

Gerry, We were so happy to finally meet you. We thought that we knew a thing or two about using video in our law practice until we discovered you.
You are the man. Meeting you last week prompted us to completely rethink our video strategy AND we decided that we weren’t doing nearly enough. You light a fire under our butts!
We are now back in Seattle and refocusing and redoubling our video marketing efforts! Thanks Gerry!
