Kramer Law Firm
According to the FindLaw rep I spoke to on June 1, 2012, FindLaw charges $1,100 per month for a total of two years for their 12-minute video option. (That’s $26,400). In addition, if you are not an existing member of FindLaw, then you must pay for a premium profile that cost $158 per month. That means that after two full years you will be paying an additional cost of $3,792 for a premium profile. The total cost to obtain 12-minutes worth of edited video with FindLaw will be $30,192.
At the end of your two years you are free to take your videos and do what you wish. Until that time, you can’t put that video wherever you want.
Those 12 minutes worth of final edited videos can be broken down anyway you wish. You can make 12 one-minute videos, 24 thirty-second videos or whatever else you wish as long as it only totals 12 minutes.
**Now, I want to contrast what we do in the Lawyers Video Studio**
First, when we shoot your video, all the content is yours forever. It is your content to do whatever you wish.
Second, lawyers who participate in my most popular video program, our Platinum Total Online Video Success Program, you create 50+ videos in a one-day video shoot.
Each video is a approximately two to three minutes long. That’s a minimum of 100-150 minutes worth of edited video content alone. Compare that to the 12 minutes that you get with FindLaw.
With 100-150 minutes of education-based content you have the ability to teach and explain to your consumers a lot more material than you can with only total of 12 minutes. You have the ability to dominate your online video space with this much content.
Third, for lawyers who truly understand the benefit of creating an entire video library to market their practice, we have an exclusive Titanium video program that allows you to create 100+ videos through two video shoots, six months apart.
That means you’ll be creating anywhere from 200-300 minutes worth of edited video. Just think how you can dominate your online video space with all that content over the course of an entire year.
**Compare that to a total of 12 minutes of edited video with FindLaw**
Fourth, FindLaw wants you to script out your content.
In the Lawyers Video Studio we never ever use scripts.
Here’s the rationale: when a client comes into your office and asks you a question, do you put out your hand and say “Wait a second, I have to run to my file cabinet to get the scripted answer so I can give you the answer to your question.”
The answer is “Of course not.”
Why then would you create a script when you create video? The answer is you wouldn’t and you shouldn’t.
Instead, you should be creating outlines with bullet points.
Fifth, FindLaw does not have a practicing trial attorney as your video producer. FindLaw does not brainstorm and mastermind with you explaining the type of content you need to create to stand out from the crowd.
FindLaw uses B-roll and office footage to insert into your videos. We do not. We don’t use filler, because our viewers don’t want it and don’t care about it. Instead, they want content, which is what the attorneys in my program provide.
If you want a template and 12 minutes worth of edited video at a cost of $26,400 plus $3,792 if you’re not a FindLaw member, I’m sure you’ll get a great quality product that you be very happy with. I’m sure your spouse, friends and colleagues will pat you on the back telling you what great videos you have just created. Then, after two years of having your videos being held by FindLaw you may question why you’re not getting more calls from the videos you created.
I have to tell you I really like the way the sales rep tried to get me into FindLaw’s website program. He was not successful, though he tried.
The choice to create an entire video library is yours. Be an informed consumer and make a smart decision.
Want to learn what your investment is to participate in my Platinum or Titanium video marketing program and see what you get for your investment? You’ll be amazed, especially when you compare it to what FindLaw offers. Guaranteed.
