Does Your Law Firm Control You or Do You Have a Lifestyle Law Practice?

Take a look at the photo to the right. I often bring my bike into my office after finishing my bike ride.

Can you claim the same thing?

Can you come into the office wearing your shorts and bike clothing without anyone saying anything?

Can your clients accept you with whatever you’re wearing, whether it’s jeans, shorts or a button-down shirt and tie?

More importantly, does your law firm control you and what you do on a daily basis or do you control your life where your law firm feeds your desires for a great rewarding life?

The answer is an important starting point for you.

If you are controlled by your law firm, the question I have for you is WHY?

Why have you allowed your law firm behemoth to decide what you do and how you do it?

Most lawyers I speak to who are in this conundrum simply do not have marketing systems in place that allow them to replenish new cases with ones that have resolved. They look at new cases coming in as piecemeal. Infrequent, sporadic and inconsistent. There’s no set overall plan. There’s no strategy. There’s nothing in place to insure that a process is in place. There’s nothing there to work for you at night when you’re sleeping or when you’re on vacation or even while you’re working on other matters.

Why do I bring this up?

I want you to recognize what video marketing systems have done for me and my solo practice in one of most competitive markets in the country. Seven years ago I had no clue how to use marketing systems in my practice. I didn’t know how to bring in new business other than referrals.

Fast-forward seven years and I can tell you with 100% certainty that creating complex and efficient marketing systems together with my video marketing has transformed the way I practice law. This has allowed me to lead a lifestyle practice rather than have my law firm control what I do and how I do it.

If you like being controlled by your law firm, then you need not read any further.

If you are totally content and happy with the way your law practice is going, then don’t read any further.

If on the other hand you want to learn how video marketing can create an entire marketing system for you that will help draw in ideal targeted clients and consumers, then you should keep reading…

By the way I’m not talking about a get rich quick scheme or a magic bullet or working only four hours a week.

I’m talking about using a proven, battle-tested method to get your content in front of your ideal clients and consumers. That’s one of the key reasons why video marketing works so well. It allows you to target your high-value, high target client by providing them with information that they are looking for.

Lawyers who create a handful of videos and throw them up online hoping that people will find them fail to recognize the significant steps necessary in order to maximize the chances that people find their content and recognize them as the go-to expert. There’s much more to it than that.

The nice thing that we’re doing here is that we’re targeting specific cases, specific case types, specific injuries where everybody is searching for these things on the web.
If you don’t do TV advertising, it’s an absolute must. If you do TV advertising, it’s a great piece of the puzzle. The difference with this is that they’re already on the internet searching for an attorney or searching for answers regarding a problem that they have. So it’s already targeted to those people.
