Attorney Video: I Challenge You To Remove the Words “I,” “Me,” “Us,” “We,” “Our,” “My Firm” From Your Videos

Here’s my second challenge for you. The first one was in a blog post on February 18, 2013.

You still have not taken me up on my simple challenge.

I’ll be you can’t do it.

I’ll bet your video production company will say it can’t be done.

I’ll bet your video guy will say don’t do it.

I challenge you to do it.

I encourage you to do it.

I guarantee that if you remove those self-centered words from your vocabulary, your attorney videos will no longer have ANYTHING to do with you…

and that’s a really good thing.

Why do you feel that the world revolves around you?

Do you still think your ideal clients and consumers care anything about you?

Get over yourself. They don’t.

The next video you create, I want you to remove every one of those words. You’ll probably be stuck trying to figure out what to talk about then.

I’ll give you a hint…

Talk about your consumer and ideal client!

Talk about THEIR problem.

Talk about what’s going on in THEIR mind, not YOURS!

Then, when you have changed your MINDSET and focus on your ideal client, I want you to send me your attorney video. I’d love to see you rise to my challenge.

BTW, I want you to share this blog with all of your friends on Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn and G+. Go ahead and do it right now. They will thank you for it and so will I!

I just read Gerry Oginski's book this weekend, Secrets of Lawyer Video Marketing in the Age of YouTube. You wont find better "front to back" advice on using video to market your law firm anywhere.
