Who “Wants” Your Information?

I was at a comedy night at our synagogue (when you can say those words in the same sentence it’s quite odd) and made a very interesting observation. I was looking around trying to find out why these people had devoted a Saturday night to come to a community event. They joined together not to pray, but instead to be entertained.

These people made a conscious decision to leave their homes, leave their children and their hobbies so they could interact with other members of the community and get out for a nice social evening. Three comedians were lined up.


There were two compelling reasons why people came to this event. One was to be in a social setting where they could schmooze and talk. The other, equally compelling reason, was to be entertained.

I looked up what kind of production companies are out there producing the kind of videos that I was interested in. And really, I was dissatisfied with the vast majority of the videos that were out there. They were not what I was looking for – except for Gerry Oginski. We were looking for someone who understood our needs and yet had the expertise to be able to pull all of the necessary components of producing a video and getting it uploaded. Gerry was the one who stood completely head and shoulders above anybody else’s out there.
