The Video Lawyer Speaks to Really Smart Attorneys at ATLAS Legal Marketing Seminar in Naples, Florida

In case you’ve never heard of ATLAS, it’s a small, exclusive seminar put on by Pennsylvania personal injury attorney Chris Munley; partner at Munley, Munley & Cartwright. Lawyers who come to this seminar get personalized, individual attention from the speakers and vendors. The goal of this legal marketing seminar is to educate attorneys on cutting edge marketing techniques and strategies that allows them to stay ahead of the curve. I had an opportunity to chat with ATLAS founder and fellow personal injury attorney Chris Munley prior to signing up for the seminar. Our conversation was eye-opening and gave me a great idea. I told Chris that I wanted to try something new, in addition to lecturing to attorneys about video marketing. My talk tomorrow is about how law firms that do not adapt and embrace video will become obsolete. Here’s the really cool idea I came up with. Continue reading

“WE HAVE A WINNER!”

Dr. Ted Greve, a personal injury trial lawyer who practices in both North Carolina and South Carolina has won the grand prize in the Lawyers Video Studio give-away at the ATLAS legal marketing seminar in Naples, Florida. “Dr. Ted” is a former chiropractor who handles all types of negligence cases. I learned that he has a unique viewpoint; he’s treated many patients with neck and back injuries from accidents. I don’t know of any other lawyers who can make the same claim. Why does that uniquely qualify him to handle car accident cases? He understands very clearly his clients’ back and neck injuries. Having a background in Chiropractic allows him to understand clients’ injuries and disabilities, not just from a lawyer’s standpoint, but also from someone who used to treat those injuries as well. I Don’t Have Time For Video Marketing

I want to share a secret with you. Do you know that as a solo practitioner I am able to compete with the biggest law firms in Manhattan who spend hundreds and thousands of dollars (and some in the millions) each year. How do I do that? The answer is with video marketing. Did you know that just one of my videos about medical malpractice generated nearly one million dollars in settlements in my law office? Did you know that just one of my videos generated a meritorious case that resulted in a pre-trial settlement of $5.1 million dollars? Did you know that just one of my videos resulted in a pedestrian knock-down case that settled for $350,000? Continue reading

Why I Shoot Video on Vacation

You might think it a bit odd for a lawyer to shoot video while on vacation with his family. You might think it's strange for an attorney to take his video camera gear, microphone and tripod to a Caribbean family destination. You might even think it unusual that a lawyer would WANT to spend time teaching and showing his kids different ways to market a business using online video, and that's ok if you do. However, my family knows that I always take my camera gear when we go away. They know how important video is to market a law firm online. They see the results of my video marketing every day when I receive calls and emails from prospective clients raising their hand asking for more information about the topic I talked about in my video. Continue reading

Testimonials

We needed the assistance of someone who knew what they were doing. We can spend probably 10 times the amount of time today, creating 2 videos – let alone 50. So, I think when it boils down to it having someone like yourself who knows what they’re doing, has a system in place, and can really kind of work with you to get the videos flowing, get the content going – I think it’s definitely the way to go. I think you’d spend just too much time – too much energy – in trying to do it yourself.
