Hi Doug,
I think video works incredibly well for every type of practice. Here's why:
In every law practice, you have an ideal client. If your ideal client is general counsel, you can create a video directed to general counsels.
Think about how a client contacts you to retain your services. They have concerns and legal questions that "only" you can answer.

You should be creating a video that answers those FAQ's that your ideal client has in their mind. You know what those questions are.
You know why they hire you.
Create a video to show them who you are and how you can help solve their legal problems.

Video DEFINITELY converts viewers to callers, regardless of the type of practice they have.

Tip: When hiring a video production company to create your videos, make sure to ask them if they know who your ideal client is. Ask them if their video producer is also an experienced trial attorney who knows what your viewers want to watch and listen to. If they don't, then you need to look elsewhere (like here) and call me to help create your videos.

Gerry,

Do you think video works well for all practice areas? Perhaps it is more effective for individual, consumer oriented practices?

Thanks.
