Jamie- you raise a great point. Why not use video to make these posts?
The simple answer is that it takes a tremendous amount of time to create/edit/upload each video. I would love to do video posts of each of these topics that I blog about on a regular basis. However, keep in mind that I still have a 'day-job' as a full-time personal injury and medical malpractice trial attorney which limits the available time to create video posts.

On the other hand, creating blog posts that are relevant to attorneys who want to create video are nowhere near as time consuming, and I love being able to come up with a new idea and immediately post it in minutes.

The key to conversion is using video to get your viewers to call you asking for more information!

Ben has done a remarkable job of marketing himself. He was always very generous with his time. The only thing I think about when I visit Ben's site to see what I can learn is I feel like he's a book saleman. And I wish on his homepage video he's come closer to the camera. However his web site is so much cleaner that it used to be.

Of course who am I to criticize someone who's gone out there and done it ahead of the crowd. I've read that the giveaway book increases conversion by 60%. An interesting number not sure there is support to back it up. However my offer of a free consumer guide for personal injury has not gotten many takers.

Yes i am a marketer and education based marketing ala trey ryder kennedy ben and you is quite nice. Now I'm wondering about techniques to convert visitors to clients .

all the best and thankyou for introducing me to video .

Gerry I'm liking your updates, but it seems that it would make more sense if you would just post video versions of these posts.
