You want to attract viewers to your website. You want them to watch your video. You want them to pick up the phone and call you instead of all your competitors. How can do you do that with video? Simple.
Tell a story.
Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end. Good stories have protagonists and conflict. Really good stories have interesting characters who are involved in conflict. There’s no greater theme than showing conflict between good and evil. It makes for a really interesting story.
Now, what was the last case you handled? Was was the legal issue? Who was aggrieved? Were you on the side of good or evil? (Wouldn’t it be nice if actual cases were that simple?) What was the conflict that required legal intervention?
If you have kids, you tell them or read them a story. Think about what makes the story so fascinating. When you go to the movies you become immersed in a good story. If you take cases to trial you should be able to distill your entire case down to 2 sentences. Now use that in your video. Get it?
Why should you tell a story? Because viewers get hooked on stories. Tell them about the last case you handled successfully. Explain what the conflict was that brought your client to you. Use your story to show your knowledge of the case and your expertise of the law. Tell your viewer what you did to solve this conflict.
Here’s a secret tip that will help convert your viewer into a potential client:
After you’ve told them exactly what you did to solve your client’s problem, tell them that if they’re in a similar situation, you can help solve THEIR problems too.
